Arrival by train and public transport
Schedule information for Mainz Main Station (Mainz Hauptbahnhof / Mainz HBF) are provided by Deutsche Bahn. From there take tram line 51 (Platform A) or 53 (Platform L) direction Mainz-Lerchenberg and get off at Friedrich-von-Pfeiffer-Weg. Alternatively take bus 54, 55, 75 or 650 to Friedrich-von-Pfeiffer-Weg.Tickets needs to be purchased from the driver or a ticket machine. To get to Friedrich-von-Pfeiffer-Weg a "Kurzstrecke"-ticket (up to three stops) is sufficient. Information on fares for public transport in Mainz can be found on Mainzer Verkehrsgesellschaft (MVG). A MVG ticket shop is located opposite Mainz main station.Schedules and further information on public transport in Mainz and Frankfurt/Rhine-Main Metropolitan Region are provided by Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV).

by bus: transfer to Mainz main station / Mainz Hauptbahnhof (leaves Frankfurt-Hahn every 2 or 3 hours, duration ca. 90 minutes)

by car: Get to highway B 50 direction => Autobahn A61. On-ramp "Rheinböllen" change to Autobahn A 61 direction => Mainz/Ludwigshafen. At "Dreieck Nahetal" change to Autobahn A 60 direction => Mainz. Leave Autobahn A 60 at exit "Mainz Finthen" direction => Saarstraße/Innenstadt through traffic circle "Europaplatz", take exit "Universität".
Arrival by car
from either direction leave Autobahn A60 at exit "Mainz-Finthen". Direction => "Saarstraße / Innenstadt" through traffic circle "Europaplatz". Take exit "Universität"It is possible to obtain a one-day campus access permit once a week from Monday until Friday (3 p.m.). It is convenient for visitors of ETAP to park at Parkplatz Dahlheimer Weg if parking outside campus is required, entrance via Albert-Schweitzer-Straße.
